Greetings. You have found the page that tells the world about me, Brian Green. Hopefully you will find something interesting about me that you did not know before.

For all the non-geeks, let me tell you something about myself. I am a 28 year-old programer who has started my own business with Rob Ellis II called Near Death Studios, Inc. I graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Comp Sci and a B.A. in Spanish in May, 1997. I would eventually like to do graduate work in Computer Science, specifically in the areas of Human-Computer Interaction, or Computational Linguistics.
I have a wonderful soulmate, Kathleen Foley. She's the light of my life. :) When she gets a homepage, I'll link it here. Don't hold your breath, though.
At Near Death Studios, I am working on our online game Meridian 59. I played and developed on text-based online games (MUDs) during my college years, and I absolutely love them. Following the stereotype of the programmer that just has to work on cutting-edge stuff, I am really excited about the chance to work on an online game. I believe that online games are the next wave for computer games, especially for role-playing games. They give us the benefit of a solid computer controlled environment and the benefit of human interaction into that environment. This will appeal to both computer game fans and fans of more traditional games.
I have my resume on-line in two versions:
