- Independent Consultant
- Perform expert work for Kenyon
& Kenyon law firm,
including research for patent defense, evaluation of contracts and
multi-million dollar budgets for game development, and review of
technical and design documents for firm clients. January 2005 -

- Lead technical development and assist with

- Design, implement, and document new and existing game systems.
- Perform the duties of corporate Secretary and
Chief Financial Officer, including tax paperwork.
- Negotiate international
licenses for Meridian 59 and other business contracts.
- Work on marketing plans and maintain
relationships with press contacts.
- Interact and negotiate with independent
contractors, lawyers, and accountants.
- Software Engineer,
Communities.com (out of business), Cupertino, CA 95014. May 2000 -
November 2000.
- Was the primary content engineer for the content-focused
studios group.
- Was point of contact for external game development contractor.
- Worked on custom plug-ins for The
Palace servers using custom API.
- Developed and consulted on small games for third-party Palace
servers.
- Helped implement demos of new technology using Javascript.
- Software Engineer II (promoted from Software
Engineer I), The 3DO Company (out of
business), Redwood City, CA 94063. May 1998 - March 2000.
- Shipped two updates to Meridian 59:
Insurrection and Dark Auspices
and shipped a patch named "Liberation".
- Designed and documented new features, such as a new combat
engine and updating of spells.
- Implemented additional features, such as the combat engine,
using a proprietary scripting language.
- Debugged, updated, and documented existing code from previous
development teams.
- Provided technical support for Customer Service and
international licensees of Meridian 59.
- Programmed for Crusaders of Might and
Magic for the PC.
Game Development Skills
- MUDs/MMORPGs:
- Have played for 13 years, coded for 12 years and designed for
9 years.
- Programmed and designed for Meridian 59 commercial online
graphical RPG.
- Have been assistant administrator, lead designer, and coder
on various text MUDs in college.
- Known online as "Psychochild".

balance, scripting languages and other programming issues.
