New Project: Indie MMO Space Game!

I’ll keep this short, because who wants to read a bunch of text when I’ve got a game to pimp!

I’m starting a new project I’m calling Indie MMO Space Game! It’s the culmination of a lot of research about what is successful in developing games.

Read on for more details.

The game will be an epic game that includes everything anyone has ever mentioned. I’m going to promise action, adventure, ponies, and even more ponies! OMG PONIES!

There will be epic space battles, epic space station battles, epic planetary battles, epic atmospheric battles, epic loading screens!

I’ll have a bunch of advisors where I’ll pay them a few hundred dollars to say something nice about their project, then I’ll completely ignore their suggestions and just clone WoW. To cut costs, I’ll re-skin the Meridian 59 engine. It will be epic!

I’ve decided to go the crowdfunding route. Since Kickstarter seems to have lost its luster, I’m just going to crowdfund right here on my blog. To this end, I’m going to sell uniquely original starship designs that you can look at in the game:

Ship Price Number left
US$75 million 1

As you can see, there are only limited ships because I don’t want to get into complicated tiers or “pay to win” stuff. I figure that I can find some hard-core fans and sell to them directly.

I hope you like my ideas. Please look forward to it!

  4. This brings to mind the classic punchline, “We’ve already established what you are, we’re now just haggling over price.”
